From Hindi film songs to Hindustani classical music I have traversed a long way in the field of music. I have been on both sides of the coin as musician first and music critic later of Indian express and the Times of India for 25 years.
I sang my first Hindi film song on stage at the age of five and at eight I gave my first classical music recital.

I have done my Masters in Music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya after rigorous training under N.K.Karhade and S.B. Deshpande, disciples of Pt. Paluskar, for over 15 years.

Later I trained under Mohinderjit Singh, disciple of Husn Lal-Bhagat Ram duo.
I am an Andhra Pradesh Sangeet Nataka Akademy awardee.

I have given several performances including at Iskcon, Indian merchants chamberand for Indian medical association even while working as News editor of Times of India, Mumbai.

And now the passion is to pass on the ‘right musical notes’ to music lovers who decide to join the caravan...
